38ft  trawler Motor yacht

The 38ft Colvic trawler yacht was designed by John A Bennet associates Ltd for Colvic Craft. She was a very novel design for the craft combines the abilities of a fast semi-displacement hull and the appeal of the trawler. She is designed to fulfill the role of a modern twin engine yacht, for her hull will semi-plane at higher speeds to achieve over 20 knots with a cruising speed of 16 knots.
The attractive looking hull has a fine entry forward, flaring to a prominent chine knuckle. These features of the hull design assist in pushing her though adverse conditions with the minimum of effort and keeping her decks dry even in short sharp head seas.
Like the full size craft the model comes as a set of Glass fibre mouldings consisting of  hull, deck, main cabin and separate bridge front. The flying deck and bridge are available as a separate moulding if required.
