    Light weight glassfibre hull with the deck rubbing strip moulded into the hull for deck seating.      Length  812mm  Beam 215mm
In 1940 it was felt that a small fast anti-submarine craft was needed. A number a fast attack craft being constructed for other navys were taken in hand and converted to this role. Powered by two Napier petrol engine of 500hp this gave a service speed of 25 knots. The craft were armed with an assortment of weapons, no 23  carried 2 x 303 machine guns in a mkv  powered mounting, and 8 depth charges. This concept was soon decided to be wrong and most craft were converted to Motor Gun Boats.
