S.T. EMPIRE JULIA .                1/96.
This class of tugs was one of the most numerous to be seen in service arounf the U.K.  144  were constructed for war service between 1941 & 1946. The complete class was constructed around triple expansion steam engines, some being coal and others oil fired. They all gave excellent war service and many were sold into mercantile use after the war.
We have chosen two types to represent the class. Both models are based on a Fibreglass hull with rubbing and belt detail.
