IMPETUOSO DESTROYER.

After WW 11 Italy built destroyers to several designs of modest size and constructed for speed. The two ship Impetuoso design departed  from the norn and followed U.S. practice of heavy weapons fit and a lower top speed that could be maintained in a seaway.
Fitted with 4 x 5" D.P guns, 16 40mm bofors 6 x A/s t/tubes 1 x triple A/s mortar and own design depth charges she fairly bristles with weapons.
A long lean and heavily armed ship, this ship would be a conversation piece on any lake.
