TO BE RELEASED. H.M.S TINTAGEL CASTLE 1/96 SCALE H.M.S. Tintagel Castle was constructed at the Ailsa shipbuilders, Troon Ayshire and launched in 1943. The Castle class were a logical development of the Flower class incorporating some of the lessons learnt during the Battle of the Atlantic. They were seaworthy ships that incorporated similar machinary as in the preceding Flower class. The hull for this model includes all plate and port detail and can form the basis of these attractive little ships, or to be different , some of the class were constructed as rescue vessels, and at the present tine two of the class are still afloat as weather ships in the North Atlantic, little changed in outline and painted bright red. Plans from Macgegor, Nexus plans, N.M.M.
