This well known and aften seen ship is moored in the river Thames on the embankment where she serves as the headquarters ship for the Honourable compny of Master Mariners.
She was launched at Devonport on the 29/5/34 on a tonnage 990, power was supplied by 2 geared turbines of 2,000 sS.H.P. giving a top speed of 16 knots. The eight ships in the class designed with a minelaying capability.
