This addition to our range of hulls is the one used by Mr J Hollis to win the national Championships in the U.K in 1988, and a gold Medal at the Model Engineers Exhibition. The mould was constructed by Mr Hollis from his own research for this very unusual model. She was designated a torpedo ram, best known in Victorian circles for all the wrong reasons. She was a well thought out and combat worthy design, with the awsome top speed in her day of 18 knots, mainly for torpedo attack and ramming. It is said that she inspired Jules Verne to include her in the original story of War of the Worlds
