I served on a tribal class so this was an ideal starter boat for me, the kit is superb, all the parts were well made and the hull was well formed, the attention to details is remarkable, she sails well , I added extra detail with the addition of a converted westland scout into a wasp , and a couple of other bits. I fitted smoke generators and moving radar , my only critic is the fiddly brass etching for the mast , the first time you try to make it without knowing the tricks, but that does not in any way detract from this great model , the team at Deans were helpful and supportive , cant wait for the wife to say I can have another boat from them
